Media Bistro is a fantastic resource for all things media-related. Being that we live in a culture completely saturated with media, this website provides leads in a myriad of media fields, including, but not limited to, advertising, publishing, marketing, PR, and sales. It is also one of the leading resources for freelancers to find jobs, and for employers to find freelancers. This website also focuses on the dynamic, and changing media industry. While some of the website services, classes, and networking events/symposiums have a fee, there are many resources that can be taken advantage of free of charge. I highly recommend checking this website on a daily basis if you are looking for a job in the media. As stalwart industries explode (or is it implode) right before our eyes we can all benefit from Media Bistro’s twenty-first century approach to an active and alive industry.

Its a bit clunky to use. You can’t search by level of experience for example. In the DC area, I had to set up different searches for DC, MD and VA, which is awkward. The job listings are good but not extensive.
